Two cities, a spike in crime, and the federal response
In an article analyzing the presence of federal agents in Chicago and other cities, CP4P Executive Director Vaughn Bryant said, “We can’t arrest our way out of our problems. Crime is a symptom of the root causes of racial inequity, and any federal action should be corrective action to address the systemic racism that has been inflicted on the community.”
